@Praveen Kumar,
Prav if I recall correctly that's aluminum and lead

With all due respect: I'm not supposed to do this, but your q leads me to ask about your background; eg, age, ed., nat'l, and motive behind OP

@dalehileman,
You don't recall correctly, Dale, as usual.

Au = Gold (latin, aurum)
Pb = Lead (latin, Plumbum)

Better get Mendeliev's background..

@Praveen Kumar,
Lead (Pb) has a greater atomic weight, but gold (Au) is denser and thus a cube of gold is heavier than a cube of lead the same size.

Gold's atomic weight is 197 and its density is 19.3. Lead = 207 and 11.3, respectively.

(NB: the price gap between the two is narrowing on the commodity futures market, which tends to stifle alchemic research.)

@Debacle,
You are becoming quite philosophical.

The profound question is: Which is heavier, a pound of lead or a pound of unwarranted assumptions?

So, like, somebody who is really good at gold futures trading could be considered an auracle, huh?

@Setanta,
Good one.

It even has a link to the topic at hand:

Alas Tim, just wait til you're 82

In my own defense however, "If I recall correctly"
