an insurance company would like to determine the proportion of all medical doctors who hasve been involvec in one or more malpractice suits. the company selects 500 doctors at random from three professional directory and determine the number who have been involved in the malpractice suit. what is the population? the sample? the parameter? the statistic? the variable and data?
