Wrong she is not at all likely to used her firearms against me and if you have a relationship that is so damn poor that you fear your own mate might used a deadly weapon against you I feel very very bad for you.

If so I suggest that you consider divorcing her as she could always placed a knife in you as you are sleeping as there is nothing magical about a gun as a killing tool.

Oh what is the name of the woman who was found guilty of stabbing her ex-boy friend 60 times or so and then cutting his throat and only after he was dead shooting him once in the head?

If only there was not a gun at least he would not had have a hole in his head...LOL.

I see it really bothers you to know that the odds favor your wife putting a bullet in you rather than in someone "attacking" her.

Good. The fact that it obviously bothers you so much might wake you up.

Zimmy is the latest in a long line of American heroes reminiscent of this clip..Smile

ZIMM-"So you're Martin, I've heard about you!"
MARTIN- "What have you heard?"
ZIMM- "I've heard that you're a low-down lying night prowler!"
MARTIN- "Prove it!"
Bam!!!

If I believe any such thing I would be filling divorce papers right now, not sharing a life and a bed with her.

But I do feel bad for you if you think that having guns in your home would be placing you in danger of being killed by your wife.

I am still shaking my head that assuming you have a partner in your life that you would fear having firearms in your home due to the risk of her or him using them on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My god what a way to live fearing your own partner.

Yeah...most people who are gun owners are as bothered as you about the fact that more gun owners use their guns to kill family members...than attackers.

I don't blame you for being bothered!

FYI, I don't live in a "glass house." I'm a third generation American. What Japan did was against the US and my relatives in Hawaii.

The Japanese Americans who served in the US Army during WWII, the 442nd Infantry, 100th Battalion, were the most decorated unit of any war the US has been involved in. My cousin served in the 442nd, and so did my wife's uncle.

You're too dumb to understand these fine points.

BTW, I'm very proud of my heritage. Japanese Americans in this country have done very well. Our family today is made up of German-American, English-American, Italian-American, Dutch-American, Russian-American, Polynesian-American, Chinese-American, and even some Japanese-Americans. Most in our family are in the professions, and are living very comfortable lives in the US of A. Thank you!
Look, those are THEIR accomplishments not YOURS; u wish to exploit someone ELSE's efforts for your gain.
Perhaps thay were sufficiently polite as not to insult Bill's race; (do u think thay were???)

Do u DENY being of the Japanese race, "Cicerone Imposter"??????

IF according to YOU, Bill is white trash, as u chose to put it,
then YOU are Jap trash;
(unless you are secretly a pygmy, or a Viking, that we don t know about).
Is that simple enuf that you are able to understand it, C. I. ?

If it is racial insolence that u WANT,
then it is racial insolence that u shall HAVE, Japo. Live with the results of your choice.

The idea to begin insulting members of this forum, based on their race
was YOURS, not Bill 's; "cicerone imposter" set the precedent
of racial insolence in A2K, not BillRM. U shud meekly beg his forgiveness.
U shud bow and kiss BillRM's feet, in your abject apology.

The expression that:
"people who live in glass houses shud not throw stones"
means that people who wish not to be insulted shud be polite.
Are u able to understand that, or does it exceed your intellect????

IF u make the conscious DECISION
to insult people 's races, then the same thing can be turned around
and done to YOU; are u too stupid to be able to understand that, Cicerone Imposter????????

Please reveal that information to us.

I am bother about people like you that live in fear of your own life partner!

I remember once running into a family that was in fear of their own dog and I thought that was pitiful but fearing your own life partner how pitiful are you.

My family had have have firearms in our family homes going back at least a hundred years that I know of for sure and no one have ever even threaten another family member in that time frame with a firearm.

What a strange and pitiful universe you live in.

Nice try...NO CIGAR!

BOTTOM LINE: The guns you and your loving wife own...are MUCH MORE likely to kill one of you two...than any intruder.

MUCH MORE LIKELY!

But keep trying to make your position seem reasonable. It is entertaining.

As I write this at 2:45 pm, 'Gunfight at the OK Corral' (Kirk Douglas/Burt Lancaster) is showing on TV's Film4 channel, and yesterday we had 'Broken Arrow' (James Stewart/Jeff Chandler).
Like I've said before, America has had a long line of heroes whose names and exploits are as familiar as household words on both sides of the Atlantic, and now a new name is up there with them,- George Zimmermann..Smile

NONSENSE but I do find it interesting that you fear having a gun in your home for fear that your wife might blow you away.

After dealing with you I guess you wife just might do so, if she did not end up using it on herself instead............. Rolling Eyes

More American heroes-

"Where do we get such men? They leave this ship and they do their job.
Then they must find this speck lost somewhere on the sea.
When they find it, they have to land on its pitching deck.
Where do we get such men?"
- (Rear Admiral George Tarrant in “The Bridges at Toko-Ri”)

It not my guns or my wife guns it my wife and our relationship that is in question by his silly claims that I am more in danger from her then a hoodlum on the street.

How sad that he fear having guns in his home due to the risk of his wife deciding to used them on him.

WELL SAID!

In Florida, we are required to carry guns concealed, not exposed,
otherwise I 'd envision a good image of him with 2 revolvers
strapped onto his hips. Maybe some day, I 'll go target shooting with him.

You could do what a bar owner I know did and get a civil war black powder revolver that he used to wear on his hip when doing bank drops for his business.

The damn thing was a cannon.

Black powder firearms are not cover or at least was not cover at the time by florida firearms laws.

Question my reasoning all you like, David.

And what should I know about his guns that will significantly change the statistics of shootings in America?

That he uses safety devices...or that he takes lessons in gun safety?

C'mon.
