2 Irish lad here and we are trying to persuade 2 Maltese that "they came draw" is No1 not grammatically correct and No2 well just wrong.

They came draw sounds wrong, but it would be helpful if you could give us some context?

Could be a sports result......or a lovemaking feat.....who knows?

We'd say "They came to a draw," meaning neither won

"They drew", or "it ended in a draw" sounds about right for how we would say it in the UK.

Here in the US don't oft say "we drew"
