Why did so many "Abuzzers" come here to "Able 2 Know" ?

Abuzz is still pretty good for political threads and links, but that's about it.

Not a single soul present (except one very "diminutive owl"....as seems his current "witness protection" nom de plume) knows of a long ago dark time, when certain scoundrels ran amok and wreaked havoc (and even some pain) upon the early cyber pages of the site in question.

Ignore these words with a passion; because no good, and no history of such a time is worth recounting.

"Let sleeping dogs lay"..... or lie (whatever)! Dogs being the key simile, here.

But one of "us" on this page......does indeed know of major past crimes.

Allow me: felonys!

And there are still default warrants out and pending upon him ,and/or her .....and indeed, all "three" of them.

They know well of what I speak.

The rest of you................?

May you be spared.

Who knows.....age could have dulled his/her sword.

I had trouble logging into that other place after a while, I gave up. Ive tried to go in when Ive actually gotten an email update to some long lost thread and sometimes it seems thats a great marker for getting in the place, if just for a while. Its nice to go home again but, when they've bulldozed the garden wall and the apple tree, the cellar door squeeks, and foes as well as friends want to play..well, at least theres some other place to go.
Nice to meet other people as well over here..some times remind me so much of the old times its like I found my old comfy couch at the Salvation Army and decided I shouldnt have gotten rid of it in the first place...what was I thinking? Wink

What everyone here is failing to mention is, the main reason they come here is to witness the genius that is Slappy Doo Hoo, the master of midget porn, relationship questions, and....corn.

The art forum on Abuzz was excellent for the most part.....I defected when the forums got
quiet and sometimes ugly........I am very good
at scrolling by and happily most of
my Abuzz friends are here on A2K... I still check

I received an e-mail to my home address (which was listed on Abuzz) citing my Abuzz profile and accusing me of being a Welfare Queen who had broken up a marriage so that I could marry another poor sucker for his money.

Abuzz was not interested in doing anything, although I had several clear clues about who the guilty party would be.

They never replied to my complaint.
