I'd think that this person was a bit weird and move on with my life.

There are nations who have banned using their country flags as underwear but certainly America is not among them.

If someone printed my face on his thong I would stop awhile and study how I'd look with a big nose and cleft chin.

@Butrflynet,
I hope you noticed the difference between item 3 and the others.

It is illegal in Mexico to use the flag colors and National Shield as underwear.
I have NEVER seen a bikini with the Mexican flag.

We consider flags in undergarments as an American thing.

Apparently, it's also a British thing.

@maxdancona,
I don't think there is any particular reason behind this. It is just the matter of choice and prints. People who wear them, likes the print and design. However, I know few people who thinks that it's a symbol patriotism which is a wrong notion according to me. There other ways to show your love for the nation unlike underwear that is hardly visible to onlookers. This is in fact an incorrect tactics adopted by companies to sell their product by exploiting the emotions of people.
