In my opinion EVERY group that applies for 501(C) status that has a name that indicates it will likely support or oppose a candidate should be under increased scrutiny.
For that matter, Congress should increase the IRS budget to audit ALL tax exempt groups every 4 years to examine their political activity that might violate their tax exempt status.
But in this case:
Are you willing to argue that Tea Party groups didn't oppose Obama H20? Under the 501(c) those groups are not supposed to be political at all. They get tax exempt status to "promote social welfare."
Hmm.... a Tea Party group that is promoting "social welfare." Do you really think the goverment should be providing tax incentives to groups that promote "social welfare"?
