need to know about a water color i found

I recently found a watercolor painting at a second hand place. The tag said "Laughing Burro". On it is a laughing donkey with a load of apples on it's back with the apples on one side falling down. There is also a an old man on the side the apples are falling. He has a white beard and is wearing a red cap or turban type wrap. At the bottom is a possible signature I haven't been able to ID, it's
M. FERI. There is also the number 58 and another word starting with Teh... that's all I could make out. Can anyone help?
