I'm trying to write:

Passion/passions for computer programming and gaming industry

should I use singular or plural? Also should I put "the" before "gaming industry"?

If you are considering "computer programming and gaming" industry to be one industry, don't use the 'the'.

Passion/passions is probably going to depend on exact context.
