Help with this riddle please!

Two mothers and two daughters were fishing. They managed to catch 1 big fish, 1 small fish, and 1 fat fish. Since only 3 were caught, how is it possible that they each took home a fish?

Daughter goes with her mother and her grandmother = two daughters and two mothers.
