How can we be sure that all religions are wrong?

@Jasper10,
You won’t answer the question on abortion and your biblical references are irrelevant.

You won’t say what you believe so you must be scared of something.

How would you address the problem of unwanted pregnancies?

@izzythepush,
There either is a God or there isn’t...which bit of this English don’t you understand?

@Jasper10,
That was established a long time ago.

Move on, answer the question.

What is your problem with that?

Everyone here has acknowledged that either there is at least one god...or there isn't.

I'm adding that there may be a god...may be many gods...

...and just because there is at least one god, does not mean that the entity you call God...exists.

There may be gods (one or many)...and the god of the Bible may NOT EXIST.

That seems to be the part you are missing.

That god (the god of the Bible) MAY EXIST or MAY NOT EXIST. And if it does not...that does not mean no gods exist.

@izzythepush,
You HOPE my biblical references are irrelevant....You KNOW that you can’t PROVE that they are irrelevant.

My understanding that if we were created in the womb then the Ten Commandments then apply after that creation.This is my understanding.What is your understanding?

@Frank Apisa,
Frank there is nothing missing from my statement...you can make whatever statements you want as well.

Your statements may be correct...they may not be correct...You can’t PROVE you are right or wrong and I can’t PROVE I am right or wrong.

We can both only HOPE that we are right or wrong or have no opinion either way and HOPE that this is sitting on the fence approach is acceptable to God if he exists.

I HOPE in the God of the bible...

I merely challenge the foolishness of stating there is no God.

Who here is stating that there is no God?

Well...you seem to be making a big thing about that.

I've not noticed anyone stating, "There are no gods."

Why do you make such a big thing about it...when no one seems to be saying it?

@Frank Apisa,
So are you claiming EVERYONE believes God may exist or just a few unnamed persons on this forum?

No, I am not.

Answer my questions of earlier...

...and you will see how ignorant that question of yours is.

I've answered your questions. Go back an answer mine.

Perhaps I am being unfair. You may just not be intelligent enough to see the point being made. Let me try this a different way:

I am saying here that I do not believe that your god exists.

Are you supposing I am saying that your god does not exist?

@Frank Apisa,
It doesn’t matter what your opinions are Frank...It doesn’t matter what my opinions are.Can’t you see this?

We can only both HOPE that a God exists or not.

They have nothing to do with what you were asked. That’s what irrelevant means.

@Jasper10,
You are skirting around the issue. Should women be allowed access to legal terminations? Yes or no.

@Frank Apisa,

A lot of us, more than you might suspect, also want freedom FROM religion...which is what the founding fathers ought to have been aiming for.

I do not want to infringe on your right to pursue the religion of your choice. I just don't want your religious convictions to determine what I must do or not do.
I’d love to hear some examples of these imaginary religious restrictions on what poor enslaved Frank can and can’t do. Talk about Horseshit!

@Leadfoot,
Abortion is a prime example, it’s very hard to get hold of in certain states.

@izzythepush,
Frank needs an abortion?

It is not religion which restricts him or her. That would be the same government which restricts your right to a gun or not.

As an aside, how do you reconcile these two 'rights'? How can you argue for one and not the other?

@Leadfoot,
So it only matters if 80 year old men are affected?

Don’t be ridiculous, you asked for an example of Christians interfering with other people’s rights I gave you one.

Don’t play silly games, your balls should have dropped by now.
