wud be ultra-grateful for a copy the ultra-secret PDF of Gold Series manual.
My settings scroll thru: P - S - h - C - CP - H - u - L - c - dP - r
(maybe the order is different). I may have changed some values inadvertently!
By the way, local installers regularly fit this with a gear-activated microswitch which breaks or makes the NEUTRALs of the stop-valve and pump for the flush sequence. I have changed this to break/make their LIVEs. Surely NEUTRAL lines are not switched in USA??

I have a Rainsoft gold series softener from 2000, just last year I had a service call to fix issues with very salty water after a regeneration and the brine tank not emptying. They replaced the seals and it seemed to work for a while but now I am having the same issues again and would like to see if the settings are messed up rather than pay for another service call. also, I have just ordered and will replace the seals and spacers in the main valve. this is a 2001 model rainsoft gold. model AOC 50 my question is on the cycles for this unit. the 1st cycle is 11 minute brine fill,....2nd is 20 minute something,....i dont know what, followed by 99 minute while still on cycle 2. it sounds like water is running out of the discharge the entire time. both the 20 minute and 99 minute time. Is this normal for the 2nd cycle and is some sort of flushing? cycle 3 is back wash and that works fine, but I don't understand cycle 2. I surely hope and appreciate any explanation that you can give,

water should not run during the 120 minute 2nd part of the regen cycle. It should just sit there and look pretty while it's making brine. The new seals should fix the problem. If you're on city water and don't have a pressure regulator installed before the system, do it. Oh yeah, it's an AQC50
