Hello! I need to find a website or software that allows me to create an estimate of the cost of refinishing projects. I am refinishing a basement, and I need to create a rough estimate of materials cost, etc. Does anyone know of such websites/software? I would really appreciate your help.
drnomad, Just measure the room(s), and bring it to Home Depot. They'll tell you the approximate cost of materials.

Yes, you can take your room measurements and go to your local home improvement store and have them do the cost and material estimates.
But, if you want to learn how to do it yourself, then the following site is a good place to start. First check to see if there is a contractor's book store or a book seller with a good contractor section in your area as a great resource.
