Hi English Teachers,
Can I write ‘that’ in the below sentence?
That is being called the ‘biotech moth’ is a modified version of a small moth.

What is being called the biotech moth? I see your example as a sentence fragment, since it seems to lack a subject.

But if you start it as Roger does, it works: "What is being called the 'biotech moth' is a modified version of a small moth." But I don't think that's what he meant.
