According to the American media the Spanish have been very naughty boys and girls.
Their vote was wrong, wrong, wrong.
They are cowardly and ungrateful, and belong with the French in the Sissies Club.
Shouldn't they have their comeuppance?
What about renaming the Spanish Omelette?
It should be Freedom Omelette in any red, white and blue blooded American restaurant from now on.
So there!
What do you think?
[I Don't now if "Food & Drink" is the correct forum. Maybe "Parenting & Child Care" would be more proper]
That's pretty damn funny. Love it.
heeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee . . .
what a naughty squirrel you are . . .

Freedom rice...
Freedom fly...
Between this, and Brand X calling Kerry The Waffle King, and McGentrix and his French Ketchup cracks...
...I'm getting pretty hungry.
Since Poland seems to be an insecure candidat now, too,
what about re-naming 'Polka' to "Freedom waltz-bouncing" in hurrying obedience?
["Parenting & Child Care" really would be a more proper category

Nah, I like this topic here in Food and Drink, and think we can have fun with it, as there is much food being flung already. Since the French actually invented the omelette, and the Spanish only adapted it (highly dubious that the Spanish omelette actually came from Spain and not America), yes, "Freedom Omelette" it is. Oh wait....that would sort of being like the US trying to fix a mess of a thing they brought upon themselves. Hmmm...well, as long as they blame the French, not for non-support in the war effort, but just for being generally annoying. They won't even admit that it was the Italians who taught them how to cook.
Funny, the French never seem to acknowledge the Italian connection.
Frowning again.
Isn't the caution against.... poaching?
We can't go renaming food every time some country makes us mad.

After the politically correct newspeak substitution:
"Freedom Fly (pulverized blister-beetles) contains cantharides, which can cause physical arousal of a sort, by irritating the urinary tract when ingested and excreted."
