Reminds me of the Amtrak NEC (was-nyc) which worked without a hitch almost every minute of 50 years, then they replaced the power system because the old one was worn out, and now the power goes down routinely. America can no longer get even the simple things done right.complain about this incompetence and you will every time be told that your expectations are too high.

Even if it is an honest mistake, it just looks awful, and leaves bad tastes in peoples mouths...

does not matter..the nfl micro manages everything, even halftime now, anything that goes wrong is their fault.

I am a SF fan...lived five years in Monterey and am from Chicago so you know which H brother I like.Me and my boy also have a habit of taking the Coast Starlight down to SF for long weekends....love SF even as I hate most of Cali. I never agreed with Art taking the Browns out of Cleveland either.

Entergy spokesman Michael Burns said Friday that the utility and SMG have hired Utah-based forensic engineer John Palmer to perform an independent analysis of the outage.
Entergy has said it believes the outage was caused by an electrical relay device it installed specially to prevent a power failure at the dome. But a company official said it was looking into whether the device had a design flaw or a manufacturing defect.

i note with interest that the bosses of the halftime show decided at a late date that they did not want to rely on the installed power system, and instead paid big to bring in temporary power generation. why would be good to know.
