@H2O MAN,

The Democrats have already guaranteed that Obama will not achieve anything in his second term, and guaranteed that a Republican will be elected president in 2016.

Now they want to expand on their failure by keeping NRA voters fully agitated through the midterm election and into the presidential season.

How hard do American voters have to stomp on the Democratic Party before they finally learn that we don't want them violating our Constitutional rights?

90% of Americans want strict background checks. Three quarters of NRA member disagree with the NRA leasdership and want strict background checks.. The Supreme Court in Heller says regulation of sales of guns is constitutional. How mjuch longer can citizens allow the NRA to ignore and undermine constitutional views of the vast majority of American voters? You're patently wrong, oralloy.

But do they want the illicit gun registration scheme the Democrats are adding to their background check legislation?

Would they still support background checks if they knew that the Democrats have begun to use the system to block gun purchases by law-abiding citizens?

No they don't.

Allow???

Obama wasted every bit of his political capital in this childish assault against the NRA.

He might get immigration reform, but only because the Republicans want it even more than he does. Other than that, he no longer has any ability to achieve a thing with his second term.

After four years of an ineffective do-nothing presidency, the voters are going to be more than ready to switch which party controls the White House in 2016.

As for the Democrats' idea of keeping NRA voters all riled up through 2014 and into the presidential season, the Republicans would like to convey their deepest gratitude to whoever thought that one up.

I'm hoping the Republicans nominate Jeb for president. I could go for another 8 years of having a Bush in the White House.

Weren't you saying that same thing prior to the recent election that RE-ELECTED Barack Obama for four more years?

That's a liberal lie that Obama is happy to repeat over and over again.

Of course they first have to weather 2014, when the majority of citizens have another chance to oust the obstructionist minority in the Senate and the crazies in the House who block everything the majority would pass and have nothing but failed solutions to propose instead. When they can no longer block the majority will of the country, Obama will be able to get the things done that need to be done.

@MontereyJack,
I doubt very much oralboy understands anything you guys wrote; he's a parrot that only repeats what he's learned six years ago. Nothing new comes out, because FOX News hasn't changed either!

I covered that here:

Democratic strategist: "I found this massive hornet nest back in the woods and poked at it with a stick, and a huge swarm of hornets came out and stung me all over. When I finally healed, I tried it again, and the same thing happened. I'm going to go out and poke it with a stick again."

Libtards?
If H2O had read the article he cut-and-pasted, or any of the more in-depth stories on gun control, he would find that the President and the Senate leadership have no expectation of reviving the issue ahead of the 2014 elections. They would rather try for an immigration bill and maybe some of the troublesome fiscal issues and, perhaps, Syria.
There is a good chance, due to the luck of the draw, that the Senate will flip to the Republicans in 2014.
The notion of bringing up gun control again is being led by one Senator: Joe Manchin (D-WVa) who is hardly a liberal. I try to follow that state's politics, but it is difficult to understand what is going on with his quixotic pursuit.

I believe you are mistaken. It appears that the Democrats are planning to make gun control the central feature of the 2014 elections.

Yes libtards. RJBoy could probably read that bull **** he just wrote right from a teleprompter better than his master Obama could and read it with some real passion, but the message would remain pure, unadulterated libtard bull ****.

Obama and his ilk will continue to chip away at the US constitution... the 2nd amendment just happens to be one of Obama's pet peeves and he won't be happy until law abiding Americans are disarmed.

Obama is on record saying something to the effect that he doesn't believe Americans should own guns. OBoy got caught being honest about his desires for disarmament and libtards are stumbling all over themselves trying to hide the truth from the dumbmasses, their efforts are meant to create smoke screens from the primary objective...
