Question: Given the function below
f(x)=c(1-x) 0<x<1
Obtain the value of ā€œcā€, so that is a density function.

I was telling you how to solve it. That's the idea anyhow, that you do some of the work assigned to you. Wink

(My question is equivalent to yours, since a probability density function has to have an area of 1 under its graph.)
