using verb+ing as noun

Sounds like something an American might say, especially if they were desperate to find something to put on a cover letter to accompany a resume.

Instead of "a right balance", I would say "the right balance".

I'm not sure how your title relates to the question. Am I missing something.

Your guess is correct! I am actually working on my cover letter and not really sure if this is the way a native English speaker (in America) would say. I apologize for the confusing title

It would be better to have something from your own work experience that relates directly to the job, but since it seldom works that way in real life, go ahead and use it.

(All balance and all t-m skills being good)
