Having just spent 3 weeks travelling around France, in some very warm and nice weather, all I can say is I didn't see a single hairy armpit on the beach or in the towns. France has changed dramatically since we used to go there 10 years ago in many ways and armpits is one - come to that, on the beaches - which are fairly clothing optional, there wasn't much hair to be seen below the waist either - on men or women

Hair today, gone tomorrow8-)

Several months ago I was in the northern part of
Italy (Lake Como) and the women there are not only
beautiful they also shave - so Kicky since you seem
to be partial to italian women, go for it! You won't
be disappointed Smile

In Italy women are shaving their armpits, maybe some are not too particular about it (especially if they are older), but they do. Actually, they don't shave, they wax. Shaving is considered almost a barbarious thing, since it has several drawbacks (which I won't list here...). Hot waxing is the most popular thing, followed by cold waxing, epilating creams and epilating machines (which are the best method to avoid "in betweens").
Ciao!

I live in a student dorm in Germany and there is a sign in my shower that says "Schamhaare sind wie Mauern. Rasier sie ab!" which means: Pubic hairs are like walls. Shave them off!" Younger women, at least in my area, are shaving everything that Americans are.

Wilkommen, karanae84

I'm always amused that Schamhaar is the word used for pubic hair - and no one has changed it. What is so shameful about that hair? Did FKK not put an end to that shame? Laughing

Well, according to Deutsches Wörterbuch von Jacob Grimm und Wilhelm Grimm

(and a lot more there Embarrassed  )

I don't like the way clothes feel against me when I don't shave legs or pits. In the winter, sometimes it gets pretty long on my legs but I shave under my arms every day. I just don't like the way it feels.

Hamster here.
I'm currently residing in Europe and I must say that even though some of you may not want to hear this, but I just recently shaved my genital area or rather the lobed part of it (the sex is male by the way).

Anyone wanna read something into this?

How does shaving my balls make me gay?
Is your bare-shaven girlfriend homo?
