Hi!

I brought a shaver with me to the States from Europe. I know I need some type of converter for it to work well and not blow up etc, but I have no idea about voltage, watts, hz and mah, so I don't know what to buy.

This is a picture of my cord:

I'd be happy to understand what type of converter should I be looking for. For instance, I found this, I just don't know if this is what I need:

What am I looking for?

Thanks!

@Crumbs,
I have no answer for you, but be sure the converter doesn't end up costing more than the shaver.

In the US, of course, your frequency will be 60 cycles per second and the voltage will be 110 - 120V.

@Ceili,
No, it doesn't work at all.

Mind that his power supply has these characteristics:

◦Input:AC 220-240V,50 Watts.
◦Output :AC 110-120V 50/60Hz.

As Roger pointed out, voltage in the US is 110-120 V.
He cannot make 220-240 V out of 110-120 V with any kind of simple converter.

So, the easiest solution is to buy another power supply (less than 15 USD), like this one, provided its plug fits his shaver:
