Teach them gun awareness & safety at a young age.

to "equal protection of the laws" and that includes
the right to defend your life from the predatory violence
of criminals or of animals (e.g., packs of dogs, etc.)

No person 's life is worth LESS because of his youth or age.

I agree:
schools shud teach defensive safety at the youngest possible ages,
for the protection of the students. Too many kids have fallen victim to predatory violence.

As a practical matter, in my humble opinion,
that applies mostly to handguns
in that it is rather burdensome to carry
shoulder-mounted weapons around.

Do you know what the word "indigenous" means? (I will cut you a little slack since it has lots of syllables). The youth in that picture are the opposite of indigenous.
