I have a 1990 Toyot Corolla - I got the brakes done recently. The mechanic told me that the left CV Axle Boot is ripped open - how dangerous driving with this problem? Where do I go to get it done? What is a reasonable cost for this?

my mechanic said that this condition is not dangerous but it is annoying, and gets progressively so. your car will get to where it grinds on turns.
