To all my A2K friends, you are all invited to the Hwy 60 yard sale this year. My wife usually sets up stuff for sale, and she spends a lot buying stuff. I have gotten some good deals also, over the years.

So come one, come all.
The first weekend of October...

Man, Highway 60 . . . that takes me back. We used to drive Highway 60 from Virginia to southern Illinois in the days before the Interstate was completed. That's a wild ride over the mountains.

That looks like a lot of fun, Boss.

@Setanta,
It is a blast. There are food booths set up everywhere, antique sellers, wineries, you name it. They all have booths set up, all along hwy 60.

@mysteryman,
Is this the one that connects with 126 to GA/ I watched this running yard sale on PBS a few years ago. Its a neat idea.

Somebody figured out that, from the turnouts of vendors, it was about 4500 TONS of stuff were sold one year. thats almost 1/20th of an aircraft carrier

@farmerman,
This one runs along hwy 60, which runs along the Ohio river between Ky and In.
Its a blast, even if you don't buy anything.

@mysteryman,
One of my dog park friends is going to be there with her sister-in-law. They're going to have a couple of booths for their artwork and crafts. That's if she doesn't talk herself out of it due to the long drive from New Mexico.
