Loking for significance in my numbers

I'm looking for a statistical analysis( if possible) to know whether there is significant difference between 2 numbers from 2 groups.
I have protein A and B,
I'm looking for differences in DNA binding between protein A and B .
I counted how many A and B proteins bound To flaps DNA and how many bound to linear DNA.
Knowing the total number of protein counted, can I do any statistic to determin if the differences observed for A and B in binding DNA are significant?
