Robber FLEES Under Gunfire

An armed criminal entered Stinson and Howard Fine Jewelry
in Oxford, Ala. at around 12:30 p.m. and attempted to rob the store.
Upon spotting the criminal, the store owner retrieved a gun
and fired at the robber, missing him, but causing him to flee.

Helpful local residents quickly alerted police to the attempted robbery,
allowing them to capture the criminal only a few blocks away from the store.
