What are some ways to deal with sleep while working rotating shifts

One little thing is blocking light when you sleep during the days. The best blockage will occur if you cover your windows with aluminum foil. If the windows leak though, the noise of flexing aluminum foil can be very bad.

If you’re going to have change in work schedule, begin to alter your sleep time three days in advance to adjust your body clock. Try to keep the same sleep/wake schedule on your at-home days as on your workdays. Use room-darkening drapes in order to convince your brain it’s dark and therefore time to sleep.
