Thanks so much for doing this, RJB.
Merry Christmas, folks.
Norwegian whose YouTube clip of spectacular trick shots has been watched over half a million times could be on the verge of a National Football League (NFL) contract as a kicker. The video caught the attention of professional teams in the United States, and Norwegian state broadcaster NRK has reported that its star, Havard Rugland, had a tryout for the NFL's New York Jets this week

@ossobuco,
Wow! Now that's impressive. I don't think it's video trickery, either. There may have been many attempts to get those selected moments but with those 50-yd consecutive kicks I watched the clouds passing overhead and there was no jump cut or unsynched moments. He seems to be the real McCoy!
@Ragman,
And the Jets do need some help..
@ossobuco,
Can he pass at all? Also can he coach? Those are their greatest needs.
Several ugly games seem to be pending on Sunday.
Here goes nuthin'
Buffalo
Chicago
New Orleans
Atlanta
New York Giants
Baltimore
Pittsburgh
Indianpolis
Tennessee
Green Bay

My impression slipping over the counts is that I and ehBeth and Ragman agree. We could all be due for a fall off a cliff..
@ossobuco,
Fiscal physical football cliff.
I think you picked Houston? I picked indy..not sure if we disagreed on others?
@ossobuco,
I lose track so easily. Sort of like Tony Romo - focus issues.
It looks like I won't gain any ground on those in front of me. Oh well. Watching the games will still be fun. Good season of competitive games so far.
I hope you all have been making it through the holidays unscathed by the weather. Here in Virginia we had one episode with sleet and more perhaps tonight and tomorrow. Nothing compared with a lot of the U.S.
I haven't checked out the game-day forecasts for Sunday.
