@ossobuco,
Tell me about it. LOL. Adapting that infamous Woodstock quote, "If you can remember 1968, you weren't there!"

@Ticomaya,
By that time I had finally lost my virginity - never to be found again.

You're too old to be playing football Tico. You'll crock yourself.

@realjohnboy,
My father was apoplectic. A Jets fan, he was spitting mad for days. I was 12.

I agree that it was a turning point in sports coverage. Prior to that they'd cut away on CBS at 7:00 for the beginning of 60 Minutes. Then they stayed with the game until it finished and delayed the start of the rest of the evening's programming.

I've already crocked myself (not exactly sure what that means, but I'm sure it's true). Once I turned 40, the wheels started falling off the bus ...

@Ticomaya,
It's time for you to take it a bit easy.

What do you think of the asswipe who thumbed down a bit of friendly advice from somebody who played football too long? Such things besplatter A2K imo in that they show what low class clients we embrace.

He was old enough to be able to tell one end of a woman from the other.

Thank you, Heidi, for getting us through the Sat/Sun doldrums. 230 views of this thread in a typically a slow time.
Let's play some football now.

The Texans "swat team" I heard this morning. I hope that stuff doesn't bite them in the butte.

@JPB,
I could live with rub. Or rib or reb.
Mysteryman, Coastalrat, Ehbeth, AndyD and Region chose Miami. The rest of us had Buffalo.

Have my pick changes been noted? I posted them well before the start of the games today.
