@cicerone imposter,
dude, she's not my wife.

I had one of those once, and it didn't fit very well.

I'll tell him you're on his side.

that will make him feel better, I'm certain...

@Rockhead,
That's grounds for divorce. Amsterdam is one of the best places in the world.

Shocked

Well - I've been to Amsterdam, seen most of the sights, and love macaroons. And I'm not likely to get back there soon - it's a bit of a hop from here, you know!

Seemed like a great idea to me!

@Cycloptichorn,
Wondering, if they'd made their trip already, where they went ...

@Cycloptichorn,
Here is my advice, having been to Europe more than once.

Here is a nice list of cities to see, and I would try to plan my itinerary according to city/town rather than country:
1. Lisbon, Portugal (take the tour bus in Belem)
2. Barcelona, Spain (see Barcelona beach and the University library)
3. London, England (see the Crown Jewels)
4. Geneva, Switzerland (visit the famous bank and eat chocolate)
5. Bucharest, Romania (visit Parliament Palace and eat at Bistro Jaristea)

-------

Take the public transportation, drink bottled water, and try to catch folk music.

Wine and cheese abound in Europe.

You can find this stuff on WikiTravel.

Eurodisney is nice in the summer.

@Abishai100,
You don't need to drink bottled water in the UK.
