With a conservative majority on SCOTA, it's likely affirmative action in gonna be stuck down in Texas case of a person who sued, alleging he was denied admission to the University of Texas because of being a non-minority.

I take you're saying the court will sustain his suit. Have you looked at his argument to know if it is plausible? Do you think he makes a case that he was denied admisssion specifically because he is not the member of a minority?

The plaintiff is asserting that his non-minority status placed him too low on the admission list to qualify, while other, minority students ,with the same academic credentials, were admitted

Since I have not researched this case, my opinions about it are based on the article I quoted in this thread
