Did a Spy Bot thing -- and everything is quiet right now. I'll let you know tomorrow.

I don't have Spybot, having a Mac, but Tina has been quiet for two days....

Tina is an ad for some computer download. I don't remember which but it's one I remember as being largely spyware.

They are peppering the net with rollover sound ads with a Virtual host that introduces itself ("Hi, I'm Tina..") and then touts the download (spyware packaged with an "accelerator").

I saw Tina on A2K, the ad had made it past the filter and then was disabled.

But there are a lot of these ads on the net right now, this problem may be related to seeing the ads on other sites (if they show up here report it and they'll be removed. We don't like audio ads).

Well, Tina froze m'sensitive little computer three times in about twenty minutes, so I'm glad she's gone. She's was probably related to Ralphie, or was it Ralph, Frank?

Will cheerfully report audio ads asap next time.

Since I purged with Spy Bot -- absolute quiet on the speakers.

The kid ain't around yelling for Ralphie.

Nancy told me she thought it was Malfie -- and then she started to think the kid was yelling Help Me!

It really wasn't that clear -- just ANNOYING!!!

But it seems to be gone.

I'll do the Spy Bot thing more often.
