Hi, I am buying a car with a touch screen stereo in it that says it has "bluetooth streaming audio" for compatible media devices. I am having trouble finding an Mp3 player with bluetooth, and figured there would be some type of thing I can plug into the mp3 player to transmit the bluetooth to the stereo, but theyre all big and bulky and have cords, etc. Am i missing somthing? what do I need to buy to have an mp3 player play music on my stereo with no wires?

You can give a try to 'Merlin Bluetooth CAR MP3 player'. It does not require installation. It can play MP3 and WMA file on your car stereo and you can make and receive phone call from your car stereo.
