I got this thing years ago, and it's intended to wipe the water off the car after washing, maybe to prevent water spotting, which is a big deal with our mineralized tap water. It's okay for that.
Recently, I discovered that if you wash the windshield in the normal manner, spray it lightly with Windex or whatever and use this thing as a squeeze, you get a streak free windshield. Works best if you squeezee from center to outside, instead of vertically. Essentially it's a very soft, flexible squeege.
@roger,
Here's a picture. Mine looks somewhat different.
@roger,
I wonder how that might work in my big glass shower.....
@boomerang,
Perfectly, if it's smooth glass. If it's that lumpy stuff, probably not well.
I'm a little fanatical about clean glass. An occasional bug spot - okay, but streaks that show up driving into the setting sun, not okay.
Oh, what's an endorsement without a link?

@roger,
I'm going to get one based on your endorsement.
Our shower is a monster to keep clean.
Thanks for the tip!
@boomerang,
If it don't work, remember I said windshields, and it will work there. I promise.
