Suicide in the shower - Did I imagine it?

In the summer of 2002 I was stuck in a hotel and watching cable. I remember seeing an episode of a show in which a character (a lawyer?) sets up a tv with a porno film where he can watch it as he commits - - or attempts to commit - - suicide in the shower.

I thought it was "Sex in the City" but my friends tell me I must be wrong.

Does anyone remember what I might have been watching?
