@dalehileman,
There is no obligation on our correspondents here to make sense. Frankly, I'd be surprised if you were to see any intervention in this matter from the admins. But for the future, the preferred way of getting in touch with management is the Contact Us link at the very bottom-right of each page here.

Yes thanks Tom I know but I like to get other participants involved because their input is so very valuable

Any by chance still following: For future ref there’s no obligation whatever to read my OP’s. Just avoid me altogether and you’ll have fewer stomach disturbances and bad dreams, while you might actually live longer

..that is, if you really want to

I won’t feel a bit offended

@dalehileman,
To solicit input, a more effective headline might be "request for comment". When you title your thread "Appeal to Admin", people might think that what you want is, ya know, to appeal to the admins.

Always happy to help.

@dalehileman,
Here's a suggestion, Dale. Just a wild shot in the dark, try asking the thread creator what the thread is about?

BTW: Stinker and Cryptic are both popular word puzzles, but you would have known that if you had asked.

What Joe and reveal my gross ignorance of the 21st Century at 81 with incipient Alz’s

Besides my OP’s are intended to amuse other participants

….very unsuccessfully 99.98 percent of the time though I am once in a while rewarded by one of those two 0.02

But thank you, perhaps you are one of them in which case my most sincere congratulations possessing a superior sense of humor

@dalehileman,
Dale: Just ask the writer/author of the thread.

Hey, I have another suggestion. (I am full of them.)

Stop with the 'I'm old' and 'I'm a victim of incipient Alzheimer's' already.
It reflects badly on you because:
1) you're not old. I've got people in my inner circle of friends who are over 90 and would want to know what you are whining about and
2) nobody who has incipient Alzheimer's knows it.

You're too sharp and too young to be such a complainer.

Let my situation constitute no reflection upon them

Untrue according to the General Principle that nothing is entirely anything while everything is partly something else

@dalehileman,
Most admins on message boards are like others have already said volunteers, it’s not like they have the time to baby-sit some of the members. If you don’t understand what someone is posting why not just move on to another thread.

That’s what I keep telling all those participants who seem so terribly angry at all times about almost everything, finding forums of this sort just the magnificient opportunity for something to get mad about
