Older guns were loaded, for centuries, at the
front end of the gun barrel, which is called "the muzzle".
Eventually, thay figured out how to load them at the other end
of the gun barrel, which is called "the breech".

I can not say I know enough about guns actually, I will explain it,
and you can tell me... It could have been one of the 2 above...
I do not believe it was an auto...as it was at least a semi- cause you
had to pull the trigger each shot...
I understand.
XXSpadeMasterXX wrote:It was a Rouger, ten clip magazine, You load ten in, and pull the trigger each shot, and then reload...
Yes; that was a semi-automatic pistol.
I believe that Bill Ruger spelled his name: "R U G E R ".

I am not sure if that is considered a revolver or not...
Its not, because there is nothing that revolves, nor rotates.
XXSpadeMasterXX wrote:I picture a revolver, with a barrel chamber...But perhaps it is, and I am wrong...Not sure...
No; u r
RIGHT. The cylinder magazine rotates and the ammunition revolves
around a central axis and then lines up with the gun barrel.
(Note that magazine means a place where ammunition is stored.)
Here is a picture of one of my revolvers, showing the cylinder:
