What was or is your favorite Atari game of all time?

I remember and enjoyed it. I believe Nintendo stole it from its Russian inventor. They sure did not create it.

What was combat? was that the game with 2 tanks, and you had to hit the other players?

Yes, I believe you are right...and as a matter of fact...If you look at the video I posted, it looks like the Kremlin in the background....

Great game!

I would use the bases, and make a hole right in the middle of the first one, and shoot right thru it....But you would get screwed by it sometimes....and the invaders bullets would go right thru the hole....If you put it on the difficulty where the bullets from them swayed....It would not happen....But it was so much tougher....It did not matter if you used that cheat or not!

Yep. That's the game that came with the console. Could play tank battle, or biplane battle. Remember you could play where the tanks were invisible until you fired a shot, and then visible only for a second? That was my favorite game of all the console games.

I do remember that! I also remember my biological father being very skilled at that game....

I did not know it was the game that came with it...

No offense to you....But I was about 5 or 6 years old, when I started to play it....

It came out, just about the time I was born...I am a Nintendo baby...Can't say I remember enough about the beginning of Atari...Only about the games, and system...and the different systems....

For instance....I never really had Atari 1600 or 2800 till My brother, My friend, and I, did landscaping as a 13 year old to make money...and a women paid us, with both those systems, and a turbo graphix 16 console with bout 150 Atari games, and 1 turbo graphix one...

The system I had growing up, to play Atari games, was actually Coleco Vision...

And it was better in my book, because it could play Atari Games...and could play Caleco ones...Which were a bit more impressive...

It also had a much better controller for Decathlon...Which was my favorite...And perhaps why!

Did anyone ever think about how Atari games never froze up or screwed up in the middle...It either worked, or was broke and did not...

But Nintendo, would **** up all the damn time!!

Why would I be offended? I was 10 or 12, but that was when the home console came out. I did not have the console at my house, but my friend did, so I would play at his house. At my house, we had ... PONG! That was the only gaming system my parents ever had.

So it was just a way of me saying it...but not trying to be offensive....But I see your point...it really is not being offensive...
