you cannot link via geocities at a picture

Nice looking... but what does it do?

so how can i attach a picture here?

GeoCities images can't be linked to anywhere. They don't allow it. So it isn't just a problem with this site.

but am looking for a really good program that won't scrow the colors up when i change the file type .. from bmp to jpg or even gif ...

i want it to keep the good colors ...

I can't see your picture, but.....
Gif supports only 256 colors...no way around that, although you can dither the colors to make it look like it's showing more. When converting an image to jpg format, most programs have a way to adjust the quality level. If it's high enough you shouldn't have any color problems.
