grrrr.....found online what was supposed to be a wonderful plant nursery and, altho i am a firm believer in calling first, i didn't this time and drove to the other side of town only to discover that the nursery had closed. So then i stopped by this wonderful pottery and home accessories place nearby hoping that they could tell me about another nursery in the area. Instead, they convinced me to go to Pikes, which was twenty minutes away, but supposedly there was a wonderful selection and they assured me that I would be pleased. So I went, only to discover that they were no better than Home Depot or Lowe's. Altogether, I drove about fifty miles there and back. For nothing! grrrr....

That would be most annoying eoe!

Now I know this sounds silly, but when I am flying at full speed in the morning( ironing, making a lunch and a cooked breakfast for my husband) why does he have to amble into the kitchen ( the size of a shoebox) and want a cuddle ??
Sorry, babe, but when I am this busy all you get is a quick kiss and a smile Smile

OK, here's what's steaming my cabbage today. I am the secretary for our Community's Association and our Annual Meeting is coming up. I have produced vast amounts of paper that need to be mailed prior to friday and last night I finally got all the Board Members to agree.......and when I checked my email this morning....I learned our anal retentive Board President wants to meet one more time and the Treasurer has made more changes. Crap, I thought I could start stuffing envelopes today and get it over with. I'm glad I checked the computer before I went to Kinko's.

HM#2 (the evil housemate who is now gone, but not quite) can irritate me even though she has moved out. It's trash day tomorrow and I was getting her three bags of recycling ready to go out when I noticed it was not all recycling. So, I went through three grocery bags full of mixed crap that was all supposed to be paper. I pulled out socks, makeup, plastic bags, and (gasp) a couple of used condomns. I quicky washed my hands and went back to the task more carefully. It took moving all actual paper to new bags.

More like growling today and for no reason whatsoever ! It appears I 'woke up on the wrong side of the bed'. Woke up? Did I sleep?
Looking forward to turning this around....

My allergies kinda got out of control with the gardening I did on the weekend. I'm barking like a dog, and I'm not happy.

Went to the walk-in, and now I've got a puffer and antibiotics. Evil or Very Mad
I've never used a puffer before.

The %Y$I%$%$^*#%)@&*& thing has about 10 pages in tiny print instructions.

The pharmacist spent about 10 minutes with me going over all the steps I need to go through to use the thing. I'm sick. How am I supposed to remember all of those instructions. Evil or Very Mad

So I used it. Used up one measured dose, but I have no idea if it got where it's supposed to go. Evil or Very Mad

I hate allergy season.

I hate spring.

And now I've got to take those two freakin' antibiotic tablets.

Each one is the size of a thumb joint.

Evil or Very Mad

Did I mention that I hate spring?

RP - she'll come back to ship the several large boxes she's left in my dining room.

Beth - does a puffer puff up your nose or in your mouth?

Didn't the doc give you a run down? Man, details are so hard to deal with when one is sick.

The pharmacist did.
They're quite thorough about TRYING to make sure you understand.
When you get the prescription, they ask if you've taken that med before (if it's not in their system). If you say no, they call out the pharmacist advisor to explain/demonstrate.

This puffer thing had a demo like an airplane safety demo.

on and on and on and remember to do this and on and on and don't forget

When I said, "I'm sick, I can't remember that." - they gave me a third set of printed instructions!

I am so not meant to be a patient.

Ay, I couldn't help myself, in your post you said you couldn't sleep and your avatar offered a potential reason.

Beth - can you make yourself a simplified list and time schedule?
