That **** can only end with the English people, once respected and feared in the world, being reduced to eating kibbled food from bowls on the floor along with Bowser and Fluff.

I went to the doctor for hearing trouble, to get tested years ago.
I 'd had blood falling out of my left ear, after a plane ride.
He asked me: "well, do u shoot guns ? " or a few other noisy possibilities
that he mentioned, as a rhetorical question.
I answered affirmatively; he was visibly taken aback; more so, when he saw Exhibit A.
He asked me if I were a police officer.
I explained that I was otherwise active in the justice system.
He appeared to find it hard to believe that someone shoots guns.

@OmSigDAVID,
America isn't a free country, it's a country where you kow tow to your own aristocracy, the Mega Rich. They have massive tax cuts at the expense of the ordinary person, and anybody who points that out is accused of class hatred.

Marie Antoinette had nothing on that lot.

Absolute rubbish. Only morons like you and Gunga would believe that.

@gungasnake,
That's pretty hilarious coming from someone stupid enough not only to have lied about a disparity in firepower between Bismarck and Hood, and having gotten slapped down for it, but to actually be repeating the canard. You get your ass kicked on the facts on a regular basis, but you come right back with the same bullshit again and again.

You still don't understand how appallingly inappropriate your childish, playground attempt at a quip is--you seem to think it's clever or funny. You really are sociopathic.

Not quite...the 2005 call from the doctors stated that long knives with sharp points were not required in the kitchen thus there was no good reason to continue to allow them to be sold, which can be interpreted as a call to ban the sale of large kitchen knives with sharp points.

On a related point it is illegal in the UK to have a sharp pointed long knife in a public place without an excuse considered to be valid by the state. It is the actual possession in the "wrong" place of the wrong knife, not the doing harm with it, that is a crime on your law books.

I don 't believe that England has EVER
been a free country, even going back b4 the Roman occupation.

If I am historically in error,
then I hope that someone will correct me
and point out when it was NOT based on authoritarianism.

With good REASON,
but the English population used to consider itself to be (relatively) free.
The citizens boasted of "English liberty." Their writings survive them.
That sentiment expired. Compared to the citizens of Spain or France, thay really WERE relatively free.

Now, thay mildly allow criminals to make them strip naked in the streets,
in the full light of day, with little or no vengeance. Its very sad.

There are separate questions of political and economic freedom and you could claim that to some extent or other England had both for a period of time after the Magna Carta was signed and before the practice of fractional reserve banking was specifically legalized in the early 1800s and the Rothschilds basically took over England. One thing not commonly understood is that the English were still using tally sticks for money at a very late date, again to the early 1800s when they were all burned as I've read it and apparently created such a conflagration as to catch government buildings on fire.

But here we have Izzythepoop crying over the "super-rich(TM)" in the US as if Rothschilds did not exist when it was Nathan Rothschild who famously said:

Quote:
“Let me issue and control a nation's money, and I care not who writes its laws!"

Beginning in colonial times the states and the US have made several attempts to get government out from under the control of bankers and the subject, which many thought to have been settled permanently in 1913, will be coming to a head again shortly all over the world, but basically the three US presidents who ever acted like they understood the issue and were prepared to act on it were Lincoln, McKinley, and JFK and you might want to ask yourself what else those three had in common...

Again the best resource on the web for that sort of topic is Ellen Brown's webste:

@hawkeye10,
Saying knives will be illegal in the UK is like saying it will be illegal to teach evolution in American schools. It's a load of rubbish.

Carrying a knife in public without a good reason is an entirely different matter.

@gungasnake,
You are a monument to the dangers of home schooling.

I feel free knowing there's no armed nutters in my neighbourhood, and that I won't be allowed to die from a preventable disease if I can't afford treatment.

Your knowledge of history is best expressed by your assertion that Peruvians used to fly about on pterodactyls. On reflection I think it's the most accurate thing you've ever posted.
