Ive noted that several sites provide photos but there is no "properties" diaogue with which to clip them for sharing. Is there someother diaogue statement I could use to copy a photo?

@farmerman,

(that'll give you a snap-shot of your entire computer screen, so you'll wanna crop it...)

You also can make a selective screen shot (with my MAC it's shift+command+4) to copy the picture.

@farmerman,
Here's how I do it (using Windows 7)...

On the image:

-Right click and choose ' view source'
-On the menu bar click Edit and choose 'Find' from the drop down menu (or hit 'CTRL F')
-In the search bar type '.jpg' (without the quote marks)

This will find the source info for the photo and then you just need to copy it. No need to paste into another program.

@Irishk,

does it work if hot-linking is disabled?

@Region Philbis,
Uh oh...what's that?

ETA - nevermind, figured hot-linking out Smile

I may be doing something slightly illegal lol, or at least frowned upon. (Wouldn't be the first time).

@Irishk,

that's when you right-click an image and you get a message saying something along the lines of "you can't steal my image -- so there!"...

@Region Philbis,
Right. Embarrassed I use it mainly when the tried and true right-clicking method brings up the word 'prohibited'. Please don't turn me in Sad

@Irishk,
I have a new laptop but the keys dont all have the same response to pressure. Like , I can strike the a or R and they wont register unless I really slam them. Is there a way to adjut keyboard pressures?

@CalamityJane,
I don't know, either on a PC. My new desktop has the problem, but my laptop never has. Both are PCs.

@Irishk,
my new laptop is a Dell. I got it from an HSN ad. HSN is very good at the sale but then they just forget about you
