Image formation, other than by life forms or man made optical devices

I used to think there were an infinite number of images in the universe, as everywhere I looked I saw one. Then one day it dawned on me it was my eyes that created the images I perceive, which led me to suppose there might not be any images in the universe outside of the mind

So excluding life forms and man made optical devices, what natural objects can create an image, or say an imperfect approximation of an image

Shadows are images, monochrome images, but still images.

Images created by blocking light as opposed to refracting or reflecting light, I'm cool with that
