Why stick your hand into this hornet's nest while we know so little about whether the app's developer has ties with its authoritarian government, a government that's doing almost everything it can to destabilize and take down every country that used to identify as 1st world during the Cold War?

You may not get stung... but why chance it? For such little reward?

It's annoing. I didn't use Faceapp and won't use it.

I think that the FaceApp'd toy is something we should not download. I don't think anything good will come of it......and if it's collectible (and it is) it can be used for facial recognition....and probably by foreign adversaries.
