May an employer make an offer to its unionized workers to grant them an increase in pay in return for a vote to end their union status?

They can if the union agreed to. But it would be stupid to agree to it. A company wage increase is only protected for one day. Then the company could fire everyone and employee new workers for a lower wage.

A union can protect employees rights and protection for a long time. Without the union, you have no protection.

Oh? I had thought this was illegal, at least when a union was trying to get accepted.
