Why are people complaining about gas prices?

Oil inventory is increasing, and prices should drop. Gas prices at these levels cannot be sustained, because consumers will end up buying less gas.

I doubt very much gas prices will reach $5/gallon in the US; supply and demand will be controlled by prices at the pump.

Gas prices will go down when we have enough regional oil to keep from having to purchase gas on the world market. I know its all the same price right? It costs more to ship oil via tanker then it does via pipeline. When we have more regional oil available to US processing plants it lowers the price we pay at the pump. Large shipping costs add to that gallon of gas.
