No, unfortunately. Although I originate not far away in Cheshire.

I was actually looking for Melbourne Cambridgeshire, a place I used to visit on business, just to show there is more than one Melbourne around, when I was somewhat startled to find there is another one in Derbyshire that I'd never heard of!


Walter will no doubt do a quick search and come up with 213 places world wide called Melbourne. :wink:

The place you looked for in Cambridgeshire, btw, is called Melbourn (without the "e" at the end).

(Not to be confused with Melborn [without the "e" and the "u"): a place in Thuringia/Germany, close the the Hesse border].)
