Will President Obama be re-elected? That is the question your boss wants you to evaluate before he commits funds to support Obama’s re-election bid? Therefore, you randomly select 1000 registered voters and ask them if they are going to vote for President Obama in November 2012. The results of this polling is 510 will vote for Obama.
a. Find the 99% confidence interval for the true percentage of all registered voters who will vote for President Obama?
b. When you meet with your boss after analyzing the polling, what is your answer to the question?
