An iron cube of side 10 cm is kept on horizontal table. if the density of iron is 8000kg/m3 (its power 3) find the pressure on the portion of the table where the cube is kept (g=10m?s2)

@raunak,
The side length in meters is 10cm/100 = 0.1 m
The volume of the cube is side length cubed = 0.1^3 = .001 m^3
The weight of the cube is density x volume = 8000 * .001 = 8kg
The force of gravity on the cube is mg = 8kg x 10 m/s^2 = 80 N
The area of the cube on the table is 0.1m^2 = .01 m^2
The pressure = F/A = 80 N / .01 m^2 = 8000 N/m^2

Convert to whatever units you need.
