A2K is going to have a spin-off site for a satire and humor e-zine. I'm looking for people who are interested in blogging about satirical, humorous, and witty things.
Is anyone interested? It's a long way off for now, but I need to start getting the funny men and women lined up for the grand opening.
Hmmmm.... maybe it's time to restart the Limericks of Protest concept...
Yes, things like that. I'd give it its own blog.
The current state of world affairs has made satire obsolete. (Or so it's been said throughout history.)
LOL - very good...
I am innarested - but I usually need someone to bounce off - so I am prolly no good for your plans...
I don't know how funny I am, but I am always willing to give something new a try!
If you can get Ratzenhoefer to stay on topic...
Like Dlowan, if you give me a place to stand, I have a lever. What about an atrocity-of-the-day approach?
We could just stand back and watch the bunny and Noddy bounce each other.
Or watch the bunny bounce off CdK...
Or just bounce the bunny.
<<inspects manicure>>>
Ohhhhhhhhh, I suppppppppoooooooooose...
I'm not really sure how it works, but I'd be willing to give it a go. Can I work with Gus? Gus has a way of getting my funny juices going :-)
I think I am pretty good at getting satirists going, what with my unfixable sincere persona, and have had a few develop in recent threads.
Think PatioDog needs to be patented as himself, geez he is good, and so is Cav, very much so, and then the person who hardly ever gives it a break, Gustavo. But wait, is khv? No, never mind.
Sugar is top of the line, but is she a satirist? What do you think, Sugar?
Hmm, mr. stillwater has a certain potential....
Incidentally it will very probably be in blog format.
Not all the blogs have to be humorous. As long as it's interesting, funny, satirical or witty it's ok.
i love sugar's blog site.
This probably isn't the place, but the places that are places, I'm denied access to.
Yesterday I tried to request updates for two of Craven's announcements and was told I could not access these sites.
I have a new computer. Is this part of the problem?
Heck, why not. But I'm busy and can't take a big role here.
yeh I had the same problem as Noddy. There was a question whether we would use amazon. com if it were linked through a2k. I would, if it would help, because I buy about 3 or 4 textxs a month and use Amazon as one of my favorite bookstores.
PS, to me, blogs blow. Perhaps its my advanced age, but I find them rather lame wherein most attempts at humor sag to the level of puns. eeeecccchhhhh. You have some very capable writers on a2k.
Ill volunteer to do cartoons
